Societal impact
Quilotoa’s mission since its creation has been to become a vector for profound change in our society.
Reducing your carbon footprint
Quilotoa not only wants to feed the hearts of people, but also the world they live in. That’s why we’re committed to reducing our emissions with the aim of contributing to global carbon neutrality.
Thanks to Sami, since 2020, we have been closely monitoring Quilotoa’s carbon footprint. In 3 years, we have reduced our ‘economic intensity’, i.e. the ratio between carbon emissions and our turnover, by 8 tonnes.
In 2020 :
42 kg of carbon emissions / €1000 of sales. *
En 2022 :
34 kg of carbon emissions
* To produce €1,000 of sales we need 42 kg of CO2
This score is mainly reflected in 3 items:
– Catering and accommodation
– Trainers’ travel
– Digital technology (use of more optimised videoconferencing tools)

Reduction trajectory to 2027
Target for 2027: 33 kg → 23 kg.33 kg → 23 kg.
This eco-responsible approach is a collective one. By choosing virtuous suppliers who are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and who communicate their results, Quilotoa aims to reduce the carbon footprint of its purchases.

Contributing to global carbon neutrality
We have been committed to an eco-responsible approach for several years, and believe that we can only fulfil our corporate mission effectively in an environment that respects the great balance of nature.
That’s why, in December 2022, we decided to offer our customers… a forest! Thanks to our partner EcoTree, we have planted 90 trees in the Trinité Langonnet forest.
Awareness campaigns
At Quilotoa, we’re keen to raise our team’s awareness of our carbon footprint. That’s why we created the Fresque du Climat with our entire team and our trainers. We also organised a ‘Planetary Limits’ workshop with the Quilotoa team at the GoodPlanet.
Our commercial proposals and our trainers’ teaching presentations contain information showing our commitment to reducing our carbon impact.

Contribute to the development of employee skills
Quality, skills development and societal change have always been central issues for Christophe Quesne, founder of Quilotoa.
That’s why he has been involved with the Fédération des Acteurs de la Compétence for 20 years. As a Director and Member of the Board, Christophe takes part in discussions and actions on training, skills and eco-responsible issues.
His contribution takes various forms, notably through the ‘Objectif Compétences’ podcast since 2021. Listen to the latest podcast dedicated to the employment of senior citizens.
Christophe brought the Federation into the Shift Project. He represents the Federation within the Shift and takes part in events, meetings and working groups. He also initiated the carbon footprint challenge within the Federation. In 2021, he will be speaking at the En 2021, il prend la parole durant l’événement “Talents for the planet event”.
Involvement in the professional integration of young people and health
Since it was founded in 1993, Quilotoa has been committed to its local community around themes such as CSR, integration through work, support for young people, health and research. For 10 years, we have supported associations such as Cent Familles, Aide et Action, les Centres d’Aide par le Travail (C.A.T.).
For the past 2 years, we have been involved with the Fondation EM Normandie which collects funds from alumni to provide grants to deserving students to finance their studies or a semester abroad. Christophe is a member of the executive committee. Christophe fait partie du comité exécutif.
Every year, we buy supplies from ESATs, companies that help people with disabilities find work.
In 2021, we will begin supporting the Fondation Arthritis Clarins to fund high-quality research into rheumatism and musculoskeletal diseases. Every year, the foundation organises Feet Week with its partners. The aim of the game is to take as many steps as possible during the week. We came 2nd out of 65 this year!

Working at Quilotoa
Quilotoa offers its employees a “‘4-day week’”, working arrangement, which frees up half a day of free time each week. We care about the balance between work and personal life.
This year, the theme of our team seminar was“Mental workload at work”. To this end, we welcomed the neuroscientist from COG’X Gaëtan de Lavilleon. The day ended with massages for every member of the team.
